Anti-wrinkle injections

Botox is derived from Botulinum toxin which is then deactivated in a similar way to vaccines. It has been used safely around the world for several decades. It has therefore become a popular, safe and convenient method of reducing or eliminating wrinkles on the forehead or around the eyes.

Botox works by freezing the muscle responsible for causing the wrinkle. You will not be able to frown following the procedure, but the art of botox is to achieve this without losing character or expression.

The procedure takes around 15 minutes. It is not painful although there is some slight stinging. The area will be a little red after the injection but this will only last about an hour, enabling you to have the procedure performed during lunch if required.

It takes several days for Botox to start to work and can take up to 2 weeks to be fully effective.
